Gunmen Attack Abako And Sai In Benue, Kill & Throw Man Into Furnace


Gunmen last night attacked Abako and Sai along Taraba-Benue border.Mr Aondofa Aye was killed and thrown into furnace by the gunmen.Houses were also burnt.The Chairperson of Katsina Ala LGA visited Sai and Abako today to see the level of destruction done to the two communities by the gunmen.

Dr. Adegbola Dominic, Lagos State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday said he was surprised Governor Akinwunmi Ambode could not muster the resources at his disposal and the power he enjoys as governor to confront Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Speaking in an interview, Dominic said Tinubu’s overbearing nature and the fact that he wants all the resources of Lagos State to come to him made him fallout with Ambode. APC Planning To Rig Ogun Governorship Election- Amosun Cries Out

Governor Ibikunle Amosun has accused the ruling party of planning to rig the governorship election in the state. The governor who is contesting a senatorial seat under the party, however said any plot to rig the election will be resisted. Ibikunle Amosun revealed that there is a grand plan by his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), to rig the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state, warning that such plot will fail. He said this in reaction to the position he took by fielding his preferred candidate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade on the platform of a different political party, the Allied People's Movement (APM) in protest against his own party, the APC which he accused of rigging the gubernatorial primary election.
