2019 ANAMBRA HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS: "Don't Waste Your Money"- Dunukofia Communities Tell PDP Candidate, Others…. Restates Total Support For Lawrence Ezeudu


Electorates in Dunukofia have pledged total support for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate in the forthcoming House of Assembly Elections, Hon. Lawrence Ezeudu -the chief WHIP and the member representing Dunukofia constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly.

They made this pledge during the commissioning of a water facility conceived, initiated and delivered by the House member in Oranto, a community in Dunukofia Local Government Area.

Speaking on their choice of Ezeudu, members of the community elucidated some milestones which the Hon. member has achieved in just three years in the Assembly, stating that, the fact that Hon. Ezeudu was elected by his colleagues as the Chief WHIP of the house despite being a first timer, speaks volume of his credibility and leadership qualities.


They described him as the most humble, down-to-earth and accessible lawmaker ever to represent the community, citing his all-inclusive leadership style as worthy of emulation. They said his short stay in the House has positively affected every single community in the constituency and that his achievements in the areas of education, health and infrastructures especially erosion control, will be difficult to beat hence, their decision to throw their full weight behind his re-election bid.   

They advised other contestants in the election to channel their resources into more meaningful ventures as the election will be a walk-over for Hon. Lawrence Ezeudu.


In his reaction, the Chief WHIP thanked members of the community for coming out to support him on the day and for giving him the opportunity to serve them in State House of Assembly. He assured them of his resolve to continue to provide quality representation for the entire people of Dunukofia constituency and Anambra state in general.

He tasked them to continue to live in peace and remain law abiding, and to ensure that they participate actively in the electoral process as they are the major stakeholders. He also promised to consolidate on his previous achievements and even do more if re-elected.
