The South East Zonal Working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have affirmed the Ndubuisi Nwobu led Exco in Anambra State as the only one known and recognized by the party both at the zonal and National level. This was contained in a communique issued at the end of an emergency meeting held at the Zonal secretariat of the party at 16 Iyienu Street, Independence Layout, Enugu. Addressing newsmen at the end of the meeting, the National Vice chairman (SouthEast), Deacon Austin Umahi said the PDP remains one united family in Anambra despite attempts by people he described as fifth columnists to commercialize and polarize the party. Mrs Ortom who made this known in a statement she personally signed and issued late Friday night in Makurdi said she had gone on self-isolation with her son and all her affected staff.
